These are very soft pillowcases, but they do have some drawbacks. They wrinkle easily -- if you put them in a full load of wash, they will come out of the dryer a wrinkled mess (it warns about this on the label -- but who has time to do separate loads?). Even just sleeping on them causes wrinkles, which are visible since my pillows do not fit under my quilt. The second problem is that they "darken" where your head lays. I guess it's from skin oils, but my other pillowcases (cotton/polyester blend) do not do this. These "dark spots" don't come out in the wash, either. They do seem to keep my head cooler at night, and they are a pretty light blue. So I would recommend these if your pillows are hidden by your bedspread, but not if they are on display with your quilt and shams... One last note -- they are too small. Our standard size pillows (from "My Pillow") will barely fit in them. It's a real struggle to get the pillowcases on. I only put up with the struggle because they are SO SOFT!Soft, soft, soft, soft. Do not hold heat. LOVE them.
