I got the matching dress and doll dress for my 6 year old niece's birthday. She loves mermaids and playing with her baby dolls. I told her I got her something but it wasn't a toy. Wasn't sure if she was going to be upset it wasn't a toy but she totally loved the idea and put her dress on immediately and found a doll to fit the doll dress.The doll dress seems to be able to fit a bit of a range of dolls. She only had like 2 to try it on but one was more newborn baby like in the fact that it was a bit chubbier and the other baby looked to be more toddler like as it was a bit skinnier. Both dolls were around the same size other than the thickness. At first she did prefer it on the chubbier infant doll but she also liked the dress on the other doll later.She's about 40-50 lbs and I think I got her the 6-7 size?My daughter and her friend bought this dress /doll dress set, in black/unicorn print, to wear to the American Girl Doll Cafe. They looked adorable and received many compliments. However. the dress faded after one wash.The only thing I don't like is that it clings to itself fairly badly. But cute design and perfect fit for her baby doll❤️This fit my daughter well (true to size) and her 18" doll as well. She is very happy to have a matching outfit for her doll.LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE DRESSESWe purchased this set for our girls birthday trip to the AG Doll store. They looked so cute and were stopped by everyone asking where we got them. Its been 3 months since and the dolly dresses have help up to LOTS of outfit changes and the girls dresses still look and wear great too ❤I ordered the size 3-4T for my just turned 3 year old (who is tall for her age) and it fill well. The sleeves were a hair long, but that is expected because of her age relative to the size range of this dress. The skirt length was maybe a bit longer than I expected, too, but it's very cute and she loves twirling in it. I'm thinking it should fit for a while!Looks great. Brilliant idea.
