Well you can't be sure the fit is always right on sport skates 6.5 is bigger than a regular shoe size so make sure the length and fit are accurate before you try to use these skates. After sharpening the toe stop is a little bit long and can cause you to fall. Make sure to inspect the blades and have any nubs ground down if they will be too close to the ice.Perfect for beginner skaters who want to continue on further than just recreational skating. I love them. This is a great pair of beginner figure skate, I ordered through Amazon for faster shipping and it came faster than I would've gotten from Jackson website. The size was perfect for me and I'm so glad I didn't have to return for the size. I wear size 8 shoes and I have relatively wide feet. 8C was perfect for me. It was very tight in the beginning but I got used to it after 3-4 wears. I recommend wearing men's dress socks. The figure skating thighs didn't provide much support and were too thin. Regular socks were too thick. Thinner socks work perfect for me. I weigh quite a lot but still skate in these with no problem. I will probably have to upgrade at some point but these are great skates for beginners especially they aren't too stiff that I can really work on my knee bend and edge control.Usually a 8.5/9 shoe in women. I also have wide feet. I followed the size guide (measured my feet in socks) and bought an 8C and it fits PERFECTLY!Skates will be extra tight at first as you break them in. But they break in beautifully.Night and day difference in regards to performance. I am coming from a cheap $50 "recreational figure skate" which offered zero support and had imbalanced blades. These skates have been a Godsend! I am finally able to learn and practice ice dance.Overall these are good beginner figure skates for that price point. They do take some time to break in which is a pain, but this is totally normal for ice skates. The leather and blades are good. My one complaint is that I wish they were more narrow. I got a size 10 in the B width. The 9.5 B was way too small and painful even during the try on process while the 10 is just a bit looser width wise than I like. The length is perfect though. These are good skates overall, but I probably would go with a different brand next time because of this.I bought these for my wife who had just started skating. She says they a very comfortable and improved her confidence on the ice when compared to the rentals.I love these so much and took them out for a spin last week at a local ice rink with my best friend. They skate beautifully!Great quality!Very sturdy skates. Beautifully made and true to size. Very comfortable and managed to use 3times before they needed sharpening.Funny looking Women’s Jackson Artiste!! Shocking that for nearly £130 I receive not only a men’s skate but a different, cheaper model and not even the right size!! Complete let down Amazon, very disappointed, pay attention to what you’re doing! They feel great on the feet but I had to buy a size bigger than the one I was wearing. These are listed as a C width, but they are not. They are very narrow. I am returning them, however, it cost me $27 to return them (Alberta to Ontario). Be aware of this if you purchase online and they don't fit, you have to pay the shipping to return them.comfortable, after the first few times you use it, as I am told should be the case for most skates. Safe for beginners, which is my case. I really like the slightly wider version (I got the intermediate one, not the W). It leaves room for my toes to "breathe", without compromising the tightness around the ankle. I wear the same size as my regular shoes, except for the slightly wider element. I wish they offered a female size in a different color (I was afraid to risk picking an equivalent male size in black).
